Janie Quinn is the Founder of Essential Eating, a family of green companies including Essential Eating Lifestyle and Cooking School, Essential Eating Sprouted Foods and Essential Environments. She is the author of the award-winning books, Essential Eating, A Cookbook, Essential Eating The Digestible Diet, Essential Eating Sprouted Baking and Essential Environments

As an author, a real food educator, organic chef, and an environmental consultant, her passion is sharing the benefits of eating digestible food that yields improved health.  Her expertise in common-sense eating and non-toxic living makes her a frequent radio and television guest. She is also an instructor at the Essential Eating Lifestyle & Cooking School.

Because her own health was restored by making better food choices, the   mission of Essential Eating is to help others improve their quality of life through eating real food and living in balanced environments. 

Janie believes that educating consumers to make better choices will help create a more healthful world.  She is fearlessly manifesting change towards    how we grow, purchase and consume food. 

Before founding Essential Eating, Janie was a successful hotelier and marketing executive developing five luxury resorts in Southern California.  Quinn graduated from Ohio State University and attended Cornell University School Of Hotel Administration.

Quinn’s celebration of life and her vision of a healthier community rivals her professional endeavors.
